In this two minute video, Brian discusses a 296M settlement by Guidant Corp. (BSCI) They pleaded that they concealed safety information surrounding its ICD Implantable Cardio Defibrillator Device.

Our Hearts goes out to the victim’s, and their families. In reading up on this article at least 13 people died from device malfunction.

Knowing many current and past employees, I must say this in Guidant’s defense, that the device, has done more good than harm, and the media tends to slant towards the negative, which ultimately does not help the consumer, nor does it provide confidence in the FDA process.
Ultimately we ALL lose …
